1,2 & 3rd of May 2014, MTB on the
"Cami de Cavalls". (The horses route). Minorca.
The route runs throughout the entire coast of our neighbouring island, covering an overall distance of 180 Km. and a accumulated climb of about 2500 m.
1st Day: Ciudadela- Cala en Porter. Riding east, along the southern coast of the island we will cover a total distance of 53 km. and an accumulated climb of 635 m.
2nd Day: Cala en Porter-Fornells. Remaining on the coast, we'll head to Mahó (the island's capital). From here we will start riding the northern side of the island directing west, with a total distance of 72 km. and an accumulated climb of 970 m.
3rd Day: Fornells- Ciudadela. Never leaving the north coast, we will continue west till the end of the route, with a total distance of 55 km. and an accumulated climb of 870 m.
Meeting point: Alcudia ferry station Thursday 1st May ( time to be confirmed). Return: Saturday 3rd at 22:00h. Alcudia ferry station.
